Overview
The IDU-60kA/1P, 2P, 3P, 4P surge protector (hereinafter referred to as SPD) is used in IT, TT, TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S and other power supply systems of low-voltage AC distribution systems to protect against indirect and direct lightning effects or other transient overvoltage surges. GB/T18802.1/IEC61643-Ⅱ.
Installation
◆Install on standard 35mm rail at the junction of LPZ0B or LPZ1 and LPZ2 zones, and connect 2.5~35mm² multistrand wires.
◆Each pole of the SPD must be protected by a fuse or a small circuit breaker to protect the SPD from lightning current and to protect the SPD from short-circuit after breakdown.
◆Installed in floor distribution boxes, computer centers, telecommunication rooms, elevator control rooms, cable TV rooms, fire centers, villas, and small district residential distribution boxes.
Main structure and working principle
◆SPD is a socket, anti-shock protection, fixed installation in the field, voltage limiting type.
◆The SPD has a built-in disconnector. When the SPD fails due to overheating or breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the grid and give an indication signal at the same time.
◆The 1P+N, 2P+N, and 3P+N SPDs are composed of 1P, 2P, and 3P SPDs + NPE zero-ground protection modules and are used in TT, TN-S, and other power supply systems.
